His name is Eric Haddad. He draws a lot. That’s what he says on his website, and seeing the beautiful creations he uploads on his website thesometimes, he’s not kidding. This week it’s not about rainbows, nor about 3D photo edits, but just good ol’ creativity. Sixten is the guy behind thismachinekills.com; A graphical design portfolio that simply blows you away. It doesn’t matter if it’s digital, hand painted or a t-shirt print, this guy can do it. Go over to his site, and see for yourself!

Studio469 - What you need, when you need it!

Time for yet another piece of TED-content. This week we got the world famous Ross Lovegrove. Or, as he is sometimes called, Captain Organic. Most famous for his inspired-by-nature industrial designs, Ross blends his love of high tech with a belief that the natural world had the right idea all along.

His energetic TEDTalk deals with his immense passion for design and his quest to create forms that touch people’s souls. Now go ahead and watch this inspiring designer talk about his work, passions and show you a glimpse of what a modern, and sometimes quite freaky, design studio can look like at 3 AM in the morning.

Studio469 - TEDdicted

Our first TED-content is about Jonathan Harris. He is an artist and storyteller working primarily on the Internet. One part computer science, one part anthropology, and one part visual art, his work seeks to explore and understand the human world through the artifacts people leave behind on the Web.

His computer programs scour the Internet for unfiltered content, which his beautiful interfaces organize to create coherence from the chaos. Head on down and watch his TEDTalk and check out the links to his most fascinating work.

This weeks ‘weekly must see’ takes us to the UK, which is the home of designer Pete Harrison aka AEIKO. He has a Bsc honours degree in ‘Medialab Arts’, which shows. Browsing through his portfolio has a somewhat psychedelic effect, and is definitely worth a click!

Hejz aka Peter Jaworowski is a graphic designer based in Warsaw, Poland. His website ‘The Hejz‘ has been around since 2004, showing off his amazing artwork. He combines amazing vector work with stunning photoshop techniques to create his artwork. He has worked for companies like: Sony, Nike, Warner Bros and Oakley.
