This years Adobe Live event was based in the Amsterdam RAI, with 6 different Stages, including a Live Theater, Hands-on Workshop, Developers Theater, Product and Workflow Theater and the huge Main Stage. These different stages were filled continuously by over 20 different adobe evangelists as well as client cases. The day was kicked off by Jim Guerard with his Adobe Live Keynote, a good warm-up for a day filled with Creative Suite 3.

We sucked up as much information, tips and tricks during this years edition and we’ve put all this workflow boosting material in a separate article, you can find here, CS3 Killer Features. It wasn’t only Adobe evangelists that presented on stage, there were also a couple of interesting client cases. Especially the Swedish company Fantasy Interactive (FI) was quite interesting.

With an office in Stockholm and in New York they are quite internationally represented, and if we name clients like MTV, AOL, XBox, Ford and Time Warner you must understand that these guys are top notch when it comes to rich interactive web content. They started back in 1999 with basic website design, they did good but never got to the big fish as CEO David Martin explains, so they filled their portfolio with fake projects and big clients and finally got the projects they wanted.

Now about 8 years later they have a waiting list, not only for employees that want to work with FI but also for companies! The people at FI only work on the projects they like, and do so with great dedication and high quality. It’s interesting to know that a company with such high design standards works with only 20% designers and 80% engineers. For more information about Fantasy Interactive check their website.

This wraps up the Adobe Live 2007 report, for more information on the CS3 tips and tricks check our Killer Feature Guide.
