Motorola Motofone F3
Motorola just released their new e-paper mobile phone in India: The Motofone F3 It’s sole purpose is to take over the market from Nokia, who is the leading brand, selling cheap mobile phones to connect the unconnected in India right now.
Studio469 managed to get their hands on a brand spanking new WSPR, for only 36USD, really, no tricks!

My first reaction after using the phone is a double wow!. The e-paper screen is superb to work with, the phone is lightweight, only 9mm thick, a perfect phone! On the other hand, it is still a budgetphone, so it feels flimsy, the menu is absolutely incomprehensible without the manual, and the finishing looks like a SLVR, but only from a long distance.

The topview with the screen, note the resemblance of the SLVR and RAZR models.

The backside, clean simple looking, but no shiny motorola logo.

The battery and the backlid taken off. As you can see, the screen remains in its old state.

Finally, the inside, to prove this is not a hoax, but a real e-paper phone!
All in all, I think this phone looks to good, not to buy for that price. We at studio469 think Motorola will win the battle against Nokia, unless Nokia takes the next step?
