When social networking sites originally started, they were mostly used for celebrities and businesses as a way to get information to fans and clients. Now people are finding more creative uses for social networking sites and every day there is a new idea.
A social networking site provides a person with instant access to hundreds of people, so any kind of message can be sent out to all of these people at once using a site such as Twitter.
